You will need to update your payroll tax parameters at least twice. Both BsuinessWorks and Sage 50 issued the first tables based on the information the IRS had in mid-December--assuming the full impact of the "fiscal cliff". As of 1/2/2013, the withholding will be the same as last year, but the FICA/Medicare will revert to the previous rate.
The existing tax tables will overwithhold. Later tax tables will correct this.
